Professional and Research Interests

Dr. Spelich has experience with a broad spectrum of traumatic injuries and has performed a high volume of joint replacements including revision surgery. He was formally trained as a mechanical engineer specializing in robotics and had a decade of experience in design and manufacturing in the automotive industry prior to entering medical training. Dr. Spelich has a special interest in computer assisted surgery and has performed research in this field.

Dr. Spelich evaluates and treats surgically or non-surgically, as indicated—all types of adult and pediatric musculoskeletal injuries including work related, athletic, motor vehicle, and recreational trauma. He will be happy to discuss the pros and cons of various available treatment options with patients. His performed surgery includes total joint replacement, tendon and ligament repair and reconstruction, fracture fixation, and arthroscopy using the most up-to-date techniques.

Dr. Spelich is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
